    Registration is closed

After such a fantastic time last year, we’re going back to Samnaun (Ischgl Ski Resort) for another fun weekend of skiing, good food and après-ski. You can join for 2 or 3 days of skiing (the choice is yours) during the peak snow weekend, from Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th January 2026.

We’ll stay at Hotel Edi, perfectly located at the bottom of a run and just a short skibus ride from the main gondola. Each evening, we’ll gather across the street at Bar Almrausch for après-ski.

    What’s included:

Two nights’ accommodation (Friday and Saturday), dinner both evenings (fixed menu) and breakfast each morning. Rooms are double/twin. Drinks with dinner are not included, but breakfast drinks (coffee, tea, juice, etc.) are. Ski passes are not included, though a guest card from the hotel usually offers a discount.

    Getting there:

We’re travelling by private cars for flexibility and to keep costs down. Link to car pooling will be arranged, with travel costs shared among passengers (around €160 per car from Munich to cover all costs including fuel, road tolls, infringement tickets, operating costs, damage, insurance, depreciation, etc.). This also allows those who want to start skiing already on Friday to do so.

    Price and booking:

Your place is only confirmed once payment is received in full. If you’d like to share a room with someone specific (partner, friend or gender preference), let us know in the respective field of the registration form and we’ll do our best to arrange it.

    Cancellations:

If you cancel, we’ll try to find a replacement. Any refundable costs will be returned minus a €30 fee (club members get one free cancellation per season). If the trip is cancelled entirely, you’ll receive a full refund.

    Staying connected:

A WhatsApp group will be created for the weekend, so everyone can stay in touch and arrange skiing together. The main meeting point is at the hotel or Bar Almrausch on Friday evening, but many will already meet on the slopes earlier that day.

    For questions: Gosia organizer1@munichskiclub.com

We’re looking forward to another unforgettable ski weekend!

    • Hochfügen
    • 56

    Preliminary Information

As this trip was such a success a few years ago, we're going to Hochfügen again for 2 or 3 days skiing (your choice) including the weekend during the peak snow period. This is a fantastic resort for skiers and boarders of all levels, with modern gondolas taking you to the top of long red and blue runs, as well as some of the best in-resort off-piste skiing and boarding in Austria.

For maximum flexibility in your choice of ski days we're going by private car. Après-Ski each day will be at the Montana Alm - where we will also have dinner and spend the night. From the moment the first lift opens the following morning we can ski and board until stumps. Accommodation and breakfast is provided for two nights, Friday to Sunday . Dinner is à la carte and not included. A lift day-pass is provided for each of Saturday and Sunday - many people will also ski on Friday but lift pass is not provided.

Montana Alm is ski-in-ski-out and a short walk up the road from the bottom of the resort. You may have to carry your luggage up, so consider not packing too excessively. http://www.montana.at/

Price includes accommodation Friday and Saturday nights with breakfast. Sleeping arrangement is double-room or in an eight-person bunk room with towels and bedding provided, as well as free WLAN. Dinner and drinks are not included. Lift day-passes for each of Saturday and Sunday are not included in the base price, but are optional when you book at about 10% discount from the regular lift price (4 Euro deposit is included).

Transport is private but we will help organize car sharing. Transport costs are calculated at 40 cents per km, which comes to 120 Euros to be shared among all occupants including driver if travelling from Munich - this shall include all costs (fuel, road tolls, infringement tickets, operating costs, damage, insurance, depreciation, etc). This adds flexibility (optional skiing on Friday) and is cheaper than a bus (which would be about 70 Euro per person).

Season-pass holders please deselect the option for us to provide you passes when you fill out the booking form.

Payment terms: Places are only considered reserved once payment has been received in full. Specify at the time of booking your preferences of with whom you want to share a room - eg with the name of your partner, or gender preference, or whatever - and we will do our best but with 8-bed bunk rooms it's not guaranteed If the trip takes place but you cannot attend for any reason we will do our best to find someone to take your place, and refund anything the club did not have to pay on your behalf minus a 30 Euro cancellation fee (for club members only, one cancelation without cancelation fee per season); beyond that you need to get your own travel insurance. Of course, if the trip cannot or does not take place you will be promptly refunded 100%.

Emergency phone number: A WhatsApp group will be created for the weekend, which you can voluntarily join for communicating with others in the group.

The meeting point is the Montana Alm on Friday evening, but of course many people will arrange to meet up to ski together on Friday morning via the WhatsApp group.
