Munich International Ski Club would like to invite you to participate in a Ski Technique Course organised in cooperation with Flat S*cks, with a focus on powder and off-piste skiing, taking place over the weekend of 30 January – 1 February 2026.
This course is aimed at skiers who are advanced on piste and want to learn or significantly improve their off-piste and powder skiing technique. The focus is on developing solid fundamentals, efficient movement patterns, balance, and confidence in soft snow and variable terrain. This is a technique-focused course, not a guided ski tour.
Programme

Friday, 30 January 2026
Arrival at the hotel in the afternoon/evening and dinner at the hotel.
Many participants will choose to ski independently on Friday.
Please note: Friday skiing is not guided or instructed. Any skiing on this day is informal and organised individually.

Saturday, 31 January & Sunday, 1 February 2026
Two full days of ski technique training with professional instructors, focusing on powder and off-piste skiing. Breakfast included on Saturday and Sunday morning, Dinner on Friday and Saturday evening.
Who Should Join
This course is suitable for:

Skiers who are confident and advanced on piste

Participants who are beginners to off-piste skiing or have limited off-piste experience

Skiers who want to learn proper technique rather than simply follow a guide
This course is not suitable for complete beginners or participants without solid piste skiing skills.

Prices
Avalanche Safety Equipment
All participants must have avalanche safety equipment (transceiver, probe, and shovel). If you do not have your own AVA equipment, please inform us by email to specialevents@munichskiclub.com at the time of registration so rental can be coordinated in advance.
Transport & Car Pooling
Transport is by private cars.
Car pooling will be organised among participants. Coordination will take place via a dedicated WhatsApp group created before the event.
Payment & Cancellation Terms
Places are only considered reserved once payment has been received in full. At the time of booking, please specify your room-sharing preference (preferred roommate, gender preference, etc.). We will do our best to accommodate requests, but this cannot be guaranteed. If the trip takes place but you cannot attend for any reason, we will do our best to find a replacement participant and refund any costs the club did not have to pay on your behalf. Any remaining costs must be covered by the participant. We therefore strongly recommend arranging appropriate travel insurance. If the event cannot or does not take place, all payments will be refunded in full.
Communication & Emergency Contact
A WhatsApp group will be created for the weekend, which participants can voluntarily join for coordination, car pooling, and communication during the event.
